Dhaka: all polling stations opened without problems
Central Election Commission held the first press conference where he confirmed that all polling stations opened on time and had no problems.

CEC President Valdete Dhaka said that based on reports to the Municipal Election Commissions leaders, till seven are open to all polling stations and had no problems in their opening delay.

President Atifete Jahjaga said today that during the November 3 elections judicial institutions proved efficient and mobilized to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens .
" The law will be guaranteed in case of violation of free will and no amnesty for violations of the basic right of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo . December 1 elections must prove that Kosovo is a state of law and equal citizens . Must demonstrate integration of citizens in society and institutions and those of the Serb community in the north of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and it will conclude a chapter of controversy between us by inviting all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and open the prospect of European integration . Jahjaga said that the rest of the test has yet to be proven in the runoff vote on Dec. 1 .
Kosovo Police has engaged 5,100 police officers to ensure the smooth running of the process .
The runoff will be held on December 1st in North Mitrovica , Zvecan while elections will be repeated in three polling stations . Due to the specific circumstances in that part of Kosovo Police will coordinate measures and actions with EULEX and KFOR .
Similar to the polls November 3 , in a runoff involving 50 candidates in the race for 25 seats for Kosovo mayors , the entire process will be monitored and watched closely by local and international organizations .
European Union election day will have 71 observers .
A certain number of observers will have the ENEMO and other international organizations . And with over 1,600 voting monitors will follow the NGO coalition "Democracy in Action " .
